Is the state obligated to screw up the life of a 15-year-old who's caught with a little weed? No, but schools aren't obligated to educate him, says the Wisconsin Supreme Court. These kids are our future. If you deny a kid an education you might as well throw him in jail and throw away the keys because he's not going to amount to anything but a career criminal. That's the sad reality that our society doesn't want to confront rationally.
