The Big Apple apparently hasn't had mandatory sex ed in two decades. It's hard to understand why, since, the last time I checked, New York was a pretty liberal place and even Rudy Giuliani was cool about sex topics when he was mayor. Anyway, the greatest city on Earth is making a move in the right direction by requiring schools teach kids how to put rubbers on, because frankly, some parents just aren't up to the task.

My parents never had "the talk" with me. We've tried to go the opposite route with our kids -- talking until they're too embarrassed to ever have sex. Seems to work.
