William Hellfire & Erin Russ - Upsidedown Cross
Director William Hellfire and actress Erin Russ join me to
talk about their new independent horror film “Upsidedown Cross”. Nadine (Erin
Russ) is a drug-addicted prostitute who moves back home to the mother (Colleen
Cohan) and home she ran away from. Her mother, a religious fanatic, hires a
rouge preacher (David Yow) to “exorcise” her daughter’s demons. But who is the
one truly possessed? Have they invited the devil into their home? Learn more
about “Upsidedown Cross” by clicking HERE or by visiting their Facebook page.

Film Chat w/ Rob Matsushita - "Clown" & "Cop Car"
January and February are dump months. It’s the time when
studios release their crappiest movies. Regardless, we have PLENTY to talk about! Playwright and director Rob Matsushita swings by the Forward studio to
discuss “Clown” and “Cop Car” (two films by director Jon Watts), “Star Wars:
The Force Awakens”, “The Revenant” and “The Hateful Eight”. We also play an
outtake record from Rob’s new play “Monster Boogie”, which opens at the Broom
Street Theater on February 12th and goes through March 5th.

Film Chat w/ Rob Matsushita: The Gift
Director, playwright, and all around film buff Rob Matsushita joins me in-studio to chat about the new movie "The Gift", the films of Walter Hill, and we discuss Rob's upcoming Broom Street Theater play Boogie After Dark (the latest in a series of plays where performers act out different vintage records). We also do play-by-play over an outtake from Boogie After Dark....a smutty 8-track from the 70's called "Apartment 69". (Thanks to Lumi Photo for the pic of Rob)
