We're not quite there yet, but the University of Wisconsin-Madison is setting up the first stages of a permanent relationship with China. Apparently we've decided that the reds know a thing or two that we don't, and we need to get over there so we don't look like total idiots when they're running the world in 20 years.
Is it really a surprise? China is doing everything that we're not. They're investing in education, infrastructure, research and creating manufacturing jobs! Imagine that: Their people actually MAKE STUFF! And we buy it.
What does this say about our country that we have to peek into the affairs of one of our greatest rivals to figure out why our kids are increasingly dumb and our people increasingly jobless?
